Russia is waging war against ordinary cities and against life itself in Ukraine. During today’s attack, the Russian army even destroyed a warehouse filled with humanitarian aid, RBC-Ukraine reports, citing President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the III International Summit of Cities and Regions.

"A bit sleepy, right? A little, yeah. But they (Russians - ed.) won't wait us out… Today, those of you who are here in Ukraine witnessed yet another brutal Russian attack against Ukrainian cities across our entire country. From Chernihiv (in the north - ed.) of our country to Lutsk in the west, from Kyiv to our southern regions," Zelenskyy said.

Ukrainian President reminded that overnight Russia launched over 400 drones and more than 40 missiles, including ballistic ones, across Ukraine.

Zelenskyy also noted that in Kyiv, the Russians damaged residential buildings and urban infrastructure. In Lutsk, Russian troops destroyed, among other things, an ordinary hotel where Ukrainian athletes were staying. Other regions suffered damage to residential and energy infrastructure and industrial facilities.

"Russians even burned down another warehouse with humanitarian aid. That's the kind of war Russia is fighting. They are waging war against cities and against life itself. And everywhere the Russian army has entered Ukrainian territory, everywhere there is, unfortunately, Russian occupation - there is no normal life. In some cities, sadly, nothing remains at all. Only scorched ruins," the Ukrainian leader emphasized.
